A new widget from the Census Bureau makes it easy to visualize population shifts by state. This is a nice tool for marketers to get a quick view of population density and changes. The 2010 census data has just been released and is included in this application. There aren’t many surprises in the state-level data (we all knew which states are gaining and losing residents), but it is worth spending a few minutes with this widget to see how these changes have looked over time.
