The latest issue of The Hub Magazine features an article by our own Steve Abdo, Vice President and Director Strategic Planning. In the magazine, Abdo recaps a new study from our insights group called “Balance and Building Loyalty.”
We all face conflicting demands for our time that can strain our relationships and cause stress. Brands and retailers have an opportunity to help shoppers on their journey to a more harmonious life that balances relationships, health, work and environment. By helping shoppers achieve balance, marketers can develop trust and passion. This can result in shoppers being more loyal to the retailer and brand.

Our parent agency, Malone Advertising, is now JWT Action. This new agency is a joint venture with Ogilvy Action and creates a powerful resource to help brands influence shoppers. Market and Main Media will remain the name of the full service media subsidiary.
This new company represents the first time clients will have access to the complete range of shopper and retail marketing services from a single source. Services include shopper marketing, retailer relationships, retail sales programs, consumer promotions, local and retail media and media buying, direct response advertising, planning, creative services, digital activation and experiential marketing all with deep research, analytics and measurement.
“This move was based on client need,” said Executive Chairman, Fred Bidwell. “With all the changes in the retail space and consumer buying habits, clients told us their brands now require a wider range of resources and a truly holistic approach to shopper marketing, brand activation and integration. The joint venture is not focused on a marketing discipline, but instead on what a client needs. Then we build a media agnostic program from that base.”
